(To be fair, though, the comedic chops for this sketch are mostly thanks to the writing, not necessarily the acting.) Two dudes head to a frat house for rush, and decide to try their hand at beer pong. They must abide by the house rules, which turn out to be ridiculous and over-the-top. For starters, “If you guys bounce it and we swat it back and it lands inside one of your cups, you have to design your ideal roller coaster,” says freshman cast member Kyle Mooney. “Disregard the laws of physics and create the coaster from your wildest dreams,” adds his frat bro, played by newbie Beck Bennett. And later, “If the ball goes around the rim and then goes in, it’s pen pals. We set you up with a pen pal, and you write letters back and forth, possibly forming a friendship that could last a lifetime.”
