The Live with Kelly and Ryan star admitted to getting her earlobes fixed on the show's Instagram page. I had gauges, like hanging gauges, she said in the video. She blamed her stretched-out lobes on a combination of the fact that she pierced her own ears with a needle and an apple when she was younger, and the fact that she often wore heavy earrings.

Thats why these are crooked, Kelly said. Half of these are self-pierced.

But the surgery didn't go exactly as planned. Kelly pointed to her ears, Theres a piece of my earlobe thats not there because he had to sew it together,she said. And her right ear doesn't actually match her left. [It] was just way worse, Kelly said. The damage was worse.
